A map to make visible what remains unspoken.
Every testimony can become a public, anonymous alert that anyone can consult.
No names, no addresses, no exact dates: only a French département, a category of violence and a time period. Brought together on the map and in the list of alerts, this information reveals at-risk situations and possible repeat offending, département by département, without ever exposing the people who testify. The #MeTooEcole x WeBlame Observatory brings together reports from school, after-school and extracurricular settings.
Alerts are only published with the consent of the people who testify.

#METOOECOLE x WEBLAME PARTNER SPACE
VIOLENCE AT SCHOOL: BREAKING ISOLATION THROUGH COLLECTIVE EVIDENCE.
Schools and after-school settings should be places of absolute safety. Yet, when faced with violence and harassment, children, parents and teaching staff too often come up against minimisation and denial. On its own, a single voice is vulnerable.
WeBlame is partnering with #MeTooEcole to offer a secure, neutral and confidential space for collecting testimonies. By submitting your account, you preserve the memory of the facts: as soon as several reports point to the same school or the same repeat offender, we make the connection so that justice can act.
How do you use WeBlame as a trusted third party?
Impunity thrives on a single weakness: isolation. On its own, a report is fragile. As soon as several accounts point to the same perpetrator or system, reality becomes indisputable material evidence.

SECURE YOUR ACCOUNT
You document the facts through our form. Your identity is verified (to guarantee the legal value of the file), but your account remains locked and strictly confidential.

THE TOOL CROSS-REFERENCES TESTIMONIES
Our system compares the information securely. The algorithm looks for matches (names, places, social media accounts, institutions...). If several reports point to the same person, we make the connection.

THE TEAM CONTACTS YOU
Nothing happens without your approval. An authorised member of our team contacts you personally to review the situation and obtain your explicit consent before putting you in touch with other victims.

BUILD A COLLECTIVE CASE
Strength in numbers. Together, supported by partner lawyers and organisations, you can build a joint case. The justice system no longer receives an isolated voice, but a body of evidence.
Real impact

Stopping repeat offending
Breaking isolation to identify and stop serial offenders before they strike again.

Unlocking the power to act
Don’t carry your complaint alone any more. By bringing your individual accounts together, you create a body of evidence that the justice system can no longer ignore.

Making the justice system more effective
Make the work of the courts easier by arriving with a case that has already been cross-checked and documented.
Restoring the social contract of safety
Your report will help protect your loved ones, friends, children and colleagues for the long term.
An alarming reality, an urgent need to act
Impunity and silence: an urgent societal issue
50%
of the population will experience violence at least once in their lifetime

WeBlame needs you to break the silence
Outrage is free. Action requires resources.
WeBlame is a non-profit association whose solution is a genuine technology infrastructure. A strong conviction, a committed collective
Our story
My name is Marline Garcia. I have always been driven by a deep conviction: never to accept the injustice and violence that silently destroy so many lives.
WeBlame was born from encounters and from deeply moving testimonies: those of victims facing all forms of violence, whether psychological, physical, sexual, verbal, within the family or at work, whose words were met with silence, doubt or a dismissed case.
My profession is caring for people. But over the years, faced with the suffering of many victims, I felt the need to go further in that care: to listen, to protect and to act.
Faced with this reality, something clicked: the problem is not only a lack of laws, it is also the isolation of victims and all those voices that are never heard. Violence thrives in silence and in situations where it is one person’s word against another’s.
We had to go beyond mere awareness and provide a structural, collective response. So I decided to found WEBLAME, investing my energy and my own resources, to create a genuine citizen platform serving victims.
Today, our mission is no longer just to listen, but to document and connect accounts in a completely secure way. With WeBlame, we want to bring hidden violence to light, help people speak out in every form, and help change the justice system and our society.
Because no victim should be left alone in the face of silence.
A committed team:

Around Marline, a team of professionals and passionate volunteers is working to bring WeBlame to life.

Cases that could have been resolved (sooner)
Why is WeBlame vital?
The Bétharram case
More than 200 former pupils of Notre-Dame de Bétharram, a Catholic school in south-west France, have reported sexual, physical and psychological violence spanning several decades. Long ignored, these complaints only led to an investigation in 2024, revealing the scale of the abuse and the urgent need to centralise testimonies to break the code of silence.
